Sue is a cannabis nurse activist with over 40 years of experience in trauma, burn, and ER nursing. She holds a master's degree in nursing and multiple certifications in emergency and trauma care. Sue is a founding member and moderator of Cannabis Nurses Network, the largest global network organization dedicated to improving patient care and quality of life by defining, enhancing, and promoting the role of the cannabis nurse and the cannabis nurse navigators, and now as a psychedelic doula.

As a nurse activist, she also uses her writing and editing skills to raise awareness and educate the public and the healthcare industry about the benefits and challenges of plant medicine and use. Sue is an assistant editor and legal liaison at Narrative Paths Journal, and a co-author of a petition to the White House for cannabis legalization. She is also a grassroots organizer who collaborates with various advocacy groups and associations, such as Women Grow, Sativa Cross, RAINN, and The National Cannabis Patients Wall. Her mission is to empower patients, nurses, and communities with knowledge and advocacy.
